Location and Climate
Locations: Although the biome is small, the Temperate Rainforest is scattered across the world. The main stretch of this habitat is along the north western coast of North America from northern California though southern Alaska. There are also small areas in southern Chile, New Zealand, Australia and a few other places around the world.
Climate: The normal climate in the temperate rain forest is precipitation. The different forms are rain or snow, obviously snow becoming more likely at higher elevations. Theaverage annual temperature is above 0 C, influenced by the nearby ocean. The warmest of the temperate rainforests may have average annual temperatures around 20C.
